This is Jasmine Rochelle McMorris AKA Jasmine West of Detroit, Michigan. She goes by the name of "MsRealEstateSale" on social media. McMorris is a real estate agent (6501323880) and former realtor. McMorris is also a stalker and a scam artist. According to McMorris' LinkedIn profile, she is also the president and CEO of the unlicensed real estate management companies Great Lakes Property & Investments Services, Inc., Great Lakes Property Managment Consultants, and Cabrico Homes.
Although Great Lakes Property & Investments, Inc. and Great Lakes Property Management Consultants has a corporate licenses or LLCs registered with the State of Michigan Licensing And Regulatory Affairs (LARA), they DO NOT have a real estate company broker's license as required by Michigan law 339.2501(t).
Under the Michigan law, anyone who engages in property management must have a real estate broker's license, unless they are a real estate salesperson employed by a real estate broker to engage in property management.
Property management is defined as:
the leasing or renting, or the offering to lease or rent, of real property of others for a fee, commission, compensation, or other valuable consideration pursuant to a property management employment contract.
Neither McMorris or anyone on her alleged staff has a real estate broker's license to operate a management company in the state of Michigan. Please see MCL 339.2512c.
Since 2012, Great Lakes Property & Investments has been taking Detroit tenants to court and evicting them without legal standing to do so. If you or anyone you know has been evicted by Great Lakes Property & Investment, Inc., you should immediately file a Motion to Set Aside the Judgement in whatever district court you were filed in. If you need additional assistance, you can reach out to your local legal aid or eviction defense organizations.
